Product Description He’s one of the most ubiquitous men on television. Certainly the most cool, cool, and collected—the king of “off the cuff. ” And no one throws to a commercial better. Yes, Tom Bergeron is a Hollywood staple, and the role for which he is best known is . . . well . . . himself. But while he’s a comforting presence to millions of people, cultivating this seemingly unshakeable positive outlook and cool persona took as much motivation, inspiration, perseverance, and ex. . . I was looking forward to reading and enjoying this book ever since it was announced that Tom wrote it. But, sad to say, I was very disappointed! Two-thirds of the book were absolutely dull because it focuses on Tom’s “unknown” life before he became a “national TV star” about a bunch of people I don’t know and couldn’t relate to (Tom’s radio career). I realize that this is Tom’s biography but unless you know who he is talking about, it was very dull and not too amusing. Not until he gets up to the part about hosting “Hollywood Squares” does the book become fascinating, you know who he’s talking about and can relate to his tales. I also didn’t appreciate Tom’s use of the “F” word thoughout the book.

I agree with the other reviewers that Tom is a amusing man on television. I sure wish I hadn’t read this book — my perception was so much better than reality. First, this is horribly written. It is disjointed and abrupt. Second, Galileo had it entirely incorrect — the sun revolves around. . . Tom Bergeron. At least in Tom’s opinion. I am so saddened by this, I wanted a excellent and amusing read. Instead, I got a bunch of hot air and snarkiness from a man I don’t care for anymore.

The book was “lightly used”, but was as excellent as new. And it was a fantastic read to boot!

Item received in fantastic condition and quicker than anticipated. A gift for my mother and she is enjoying the book. She’s a fantastic fan of Dancing with the Stars.

I am an avid fan of Dancing With The Stars so I was particularly interested in his “behind the scene” experiences. I wish there had been a few more chapters about DWTS. Tom is an brilliant host on DWTS and he has made me laugh so many times. I also like America’s Most amusing Home videos which is my guilty pleasure. Tom’s book was very enlightening, charming and had a lot of common sense. Too terrible Michael Gelman is such a jerk but I quit watching Regis and Kelly because I can’t stand Kelly—it’s all about her—and what’s up with the teen-age clothes she wears?
