As one of the recipe testers, I really loved being a part of putting this wonderful cookbook together. My friends loved receiving it as a gift and my mother even though she doesn’t have huge parties or dinners anymore enjoys sharing this cookbook with her friends. One of the things I like about it the most, is the many seafood recipes offered.

For the person who likes to entertain, this book is fantastic. Home Entertaining is a fantastic way to meet people and build relationships. There is really a new party plot company call Taste of Home Entertaining that launches in May. As a person who likes to entertain and make money, this is a fantastic way to combine the two leisure activities and get into the company at the ground level.

Terrible paper, no picture at all, taste terrible, too much ingridients. I just threw it away, didn’t even wanna give it away to someone I know. Huge disappointment. But Colin Cowie book for fantastic recipes and nice touch party arrangement. No regret!

In a time when people are entertaining in their own home more and more this is a fantastic reference to have at hand. I bought it when I joined Taste of Home Entertaining as a consultant. And now as I recruit new consultants and hold parties I can use books like this as consultant and hostess gifts. The recipes are mostly simple using ingredients that you can easily find in your grocery store.

At Home Entertaining makes throwing a party simple. Not only does Jorj have party menus, recipes and shortcuts in the book but she also offers shopping lists to print out on her web site. The book helps take all the tedious plotting out of your next party. It’s a keeper!
